COMPANY HISTORY
Inter-Con was founded in 1973 to meet the security needs of sophisticated commercial and governmental operations – those requiring superior-quality services, delivered efficiently and effectively, and with a high degree of professionalism.

Inter-Con’s first client was NASA, and its first business was to implement a comprehensive security program that incorporated a variety of security disciplines in a classified environment.  This critically different starting place – and the specialized security efforts that have followed – have shaped Inter-Con’s growth and organizational development, and distinguish Inter-Con from all other major security industry companies. 

While the vast majority of security companies sell generic services in assembly line fashion, Inter-Con remains focused on the specific client – tailoring security programs to meet specific needs, and building dedicated organizations to manage the programs effectively.  Through this strategy, Inter-Con has achieved the global reach, the financial strength and the organizational leadership to successfully undertake the most complex, multi-dimensional security challenges, anywhere in the world.
